OUR PRICES COMPARED TO GROCERY STORE
Friday, March 20th, 2009I have often been asked how our prices compare to average grocery store prices for feedlot beef. Keep in mind we are comparing apples to oranges, as our pasture raised cattle take alot longer to finish naturally without growth hormones or steroids or crowded feedlots or grain.
Based on an article in Stockman Grass Farmer, a side of natural beef raised healthy on our pastures costs 25 to 35 percent less than if you bought a side of unhealthy beef produced for a grocery store chain.
